Strategic Ventures’ executive search process is most appealing to clients who have in-house human resources expertise but lack a consistent flow of senior consulting and business development candidates.

We begin our executive search process with an onsite Business Assessment Session. This session is designed to enable us to first fully understand your company’s strategic goals, internalize your competitive advantage and understand the types of senior resources needed to achieve your growth objectives. The search process targets the strongest performers in the industry. These highly prized candidates are usually passive so we contact and qualify them through the following unique search process:

  • Develop a Strategic Search Plan (SSP) which includes the following customized tools:

    • Client Profile

    • Candidate Profile

    • Project Timeline

    • Candidate vetting and qualification questionnaire

    • Target list of companies where qualified candidates may be employed

  • Develop a Career Opportunity Profile (COP) for educating qualified candidates.

  • Post the “Executive Opportunity” on Strategic Ventures’ website.

  • Recruit candidates according to the ethical guidelines issued by the International Association for Corporate & Professional Recruitment (IACPR).

  • Deliver to you regular executive search status updates.

  • Present a Candidate Analysis Profile (CAP) for each viable candidate which includes:

    • Summary of candidates' qualifications, career goals and analysis

    • Candidate resume

    • Completed candidate qualification questionnaire

  • Coordinate interviews between you and the most promising candidates.

  • Debrief candidates after interviews and provide you with feedback.

  • Conduct detailed reference checks on the most promising candidates.

  • Facilitate psychological testing on the most promising candidates.

  • Provide you with a written summary of the reference checks and psychological testing.

  • Consult with you on final candidate selections.

  • Help prepare, present and negotiate employment offers with selected candidates.

  • Provide resignation consultation to selected candidates to help address any transition anxiety or counter offers from current employers.

  • Provide post placement consultation to help candidates manage transition issues.
