Strategic Ventures’ contingent search process is most appealing to clients who seek to supplement in-house resources with an additional flow of candidates to meet the demands of a resource staffing plan.

We begin our contingent search process with a Business Assessment conference call. This call is designed to enable Strategic Ventures to first fully understand your company’s strategic goals, internalize your competitive advantage and understand the types of resources needed to achieve your growth objectives. Since the most highly prized candidates are usually being successful in their current positions Strategic Ventures recruits them through this disciplined executive search process:

  • Develop candidate vetting questionnaire.

  • Develop target list of companies where qualified candidates are currently employed.

  • Recruit candidates according to the ethical guidelines issued by the International Association for Corporate & Professional Recruitment (IACPR).

  • Present to the client a Candidate Profile for each viable candidate which includes:

  • Summary of candidates' qualifications, career goals and comments

  • Candidate resume

  • Coordinate interviews between client and viable candidates

  • Debrief candidates after interviews and provide feedback to client

  • Conduct detailed reference checks on the most promising candidates

  • Provide client with a written summary of reference checks

  • Consult with client on the final candidate selections

  • Help present and negotiate employment offers with selected candidates

  • Provide resignation consultation to selected candidates to help address any transition anxiety or counter offers from their current employers

  • Provide post placement consultation to alert client to potential candidate transition issues
